Kilpatrick Stockton’s managing partner, William H. Brewster, will step down Jan. 1, after almost six years in the post, and Diane L. Prucino and William E. Dorris will become the firm’s co-managing partners. Prucino becomes the only woman to head a large Atlanta law firm.

Prucino, 49, who leads the firm’s labor and employment group, will handle attorney development, and Dorris, 51, who heads the litigation group, will handle practice management and client service.
