London’s Linklaters has appointed Simon Davies as its new firmwide managing partner.
Davies, 39, had previously been the Hong Kong-based Asia managing partner for the British firm, one of London’s Magic Circle of five leading corporate law firms. He succeeds Tony Angel, who had served as the 2,300-lawyer firm’s managing partner since 1998.
