Baker Hostetler will boost its Los Angeles presence next month with the addition of 19 lawyers, the entire L.A. office of swiftly shrinking Jenkens & Gilchrist.

The move follows years of litigation for the beleaguered Dallas-based firm that involved former clients suing the firm over improper tax shelter advice. In January, a New York judge signed off on an $81.6 million settlement.
