Dewey Ballantine has added two corporate partners in New York.
John J. Altorelli and Jeffrey A. Potash are joining Dewey from the New York office of Pittsburgh’s Reed Smith, where Altorelli was a partner and co-chair of the private equity practice, representing clients including Capmark Financial Group, Blackstone Group and State Street Bank. He had joined Reed Smith only in fall 2005, having previously been a partner in the New York office of Paul, Hastings, Janofsky & Walker.
