Covington & Burling has kicked off the search for a new European corporate head as it emerges that new recruit Martin Wright has decided not to join the firm.

Former Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer partner Wright agreed to join the law firm as head of its European corporate practice this July, in a move that would have seen him relocate from Paris to London.
