The theme of Hofstra Law School’s Oct. 14-16 ethics conference is “Lawyering at the Edge: Unpopular Clients, Difficult Cases, Zealous Advocates.”
Right now, however, it is the school that is at the “edge.” It has been taking heat for inviting convicted and disbarred attorney Lynne Stewart to appear on one of the conference’s panels.
