Baker & Daniels has hired Suzanne M. O’Shea, a former Food and Drug Administration attorney, as counsel to practice with its health and life sciences group.

O’Shea, who was a regulatory attorney for 21 years, will use her knowledge of the agency and its approval process to help clients who are trying to bring drugs, devices and other products to market, the firm said in a release. She was most recently a classification officer at the agency’s Office of Combination Products where she was responsible for classifying products when their designation was unclear or in dispute, the firm said.
