A 52-year-old partner fired by Newark, N.J.’s Sills Cummis & Gross is accusing the firm of age discrimination in a suit seeking lost wages and the fair value of his interest in the partnership.

James Toll, a partner since 1990, alleges in a complaint filed Nov. 4 in New Jersey’s Essex County that managing partner Robert Max Crane said in September 2006 that Toll was “not a right fit and should leave the firm.”
