The 2d U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals has reversed an order barring all evidence that an accused killer in a death-penalty case dismembered his victim. The appeals court overruled the lower court decision that introducing photos and other evidence of the dismemberment would inflame jurors' passions during the penalty phase of the trial.
