McDermott, Will & Emery has appointed partner Stephen E. Older head of the corporate department in New York.
Older, who is co-head of the firmwide securities practice group, focuses on corporate and securities law, with a concentration on public offerings and private placements, including private investments in public equity. He also represents hedge and private equity funds in transactions, as well as trading and general advice, and has been involved in mergers and acquisitions.
