The graduating class of 2014 from New York’s 15 law schools fared better at finding full-time legal work than their predecessors, but they were also part of a smaller graduating class competing for jobs, according to data released last week by the American Bar Association.

About 66 percent of New York’s 4,529 law graduates were working at full-time jobs within 10 months of graduation day that require passing the bar exam, the ABA found. That represents a 3 percent increase from the previous year.
