Former Dewey & LeBoeuf partner relationship specialist David Rodriguez testified Monday that he reclassified disbursements made to of counsels, departed partners and, notably, the firm's former chairman, Steven Davis.

Usually when he was improperly reclassifying accounting entries, he did so without questioning his supervisor, Rodriguez said.

“Boss told you what to do, and you just did it,” said Rodriguez during the fourth week of the criminal trial of the firm's former leaders—Davis, ex-executive director Stephen DiCarmine and former CFO Joel Sanders.
