• Hunton & Williams has promoted to partner Jay Mower and Matthew Scoville, both of whom focus on real estate transactions and finance. The firm promoted to counsel Brian Shortt, also in real estate.
• Shearman & Sterling has added Waajid Siddiqui as a partner in its mergers and acquisitions team, focused on representing corporations, financial institutions, oil & gas companies and strategic and financial sponsors in India. He was a partner at Hogan Lovells.
• Thomas Christopher has joined Latham & Watkins as a partner in its corporate department and a member of its mergers and acquisitions group. He joins from Kirkland & Ellis.
