Panel Orders $5.2M Payment to Victim of 1993 WTC Bombing
The First Department held that the verdict for Linda Nash, one of only a handful of plaintiffs who did not join a consolidated suit after the bombing, had become final before a 2013 Court of Appeals ruling absolving the Port Authority of any liability on the grounds of sovereign immunity.

A victim of the 1993 World Trade Center terror bomb attack had a $5.2 million judgment against the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey reinstated Tuesday when a state appeals court reinstated a 2009 award.
But hours after an Appellate Division, First Department, panel issued its latest ruling in Nash v. Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, 129074/93, the Port Authority filed a motion for leave to appeal, staying enforcement of the judgment again.
The Port Authority had appealed the award twice before, once to the Court of Appeals.
