Dewey & LeBoeuf's former director of revenue support, Dianne Cascino, testified Wednesday that she improperly adjusted accounting records during her time at the firm.

In response to a question about her criminal conduct from Manhattan Assistant District Attorney Peirce Moser, she said with a shaky voice that she reversed bills and put disbursements that had been written off back on the firm's books.

“There was no way those amounts were going to be billed and collected,” she said of the write-offs that she reversed. She said she made the adjustments to increase the firm's bottom line.
