The jury deliberating in the trial of the leaders of failed law firm Dewey & LeBoeuf threw out more falsifying business records counts against the former executives but remained deadlocked on a majority of the charges.

Jurors tossed four more counts of falsifying business records each against ex-chairman Steven Davis and former executive director Stephen DiCarmine, and one count against former chief financial officer Joel Sanders.

The counts were related to certain adjustments, including applying the capital of former M&A partner Richard Climan as client fees and other adjustments related to Dewey's Riyadh offices and U.K. taxes. Last week, the jury asked for a readback of testimony from cooperator Francis Canellas related to Climan's capital.
