Fordham Offers Non-Lawyer Training in 'Hot' Compliance
Starting in January, the Fordham University School of Law will offer a master's degree in corporate compliance to non-lawyers, who will be required to take courses on the U.S. legal system, the legal profession and legal writing and research.

Starting in January, the Fordham University School of Law will offer a master's degree in corporate compliance to non-lawyers.
Fordham is accepting applications for the program to be offered in the spring and fall semesters. The non-lawyers will be required to take courses on the U.S. legal system, the legal profession and legal writing and research.
Full-time students can obtain a Master of Studies in Law degree in one year. The school created an LL.M. program in corporate compliance for lawyers last year.

The case, filed Oct. 2 in Massachusetts District Court by the Brown Law Firm on behalf of Stephen Austen, accuses certain officers and directors of misleading investors in regard to Symbotic's potential for margin growth by failing to disclose that the company was not equipped to timely deploy its systems or manage expenses through project delays.
