Steven J. Eisman, a name partner at a well-known Long Island firm and the sitting president of the Nassau County Bar Association, died Thursday at age 61.
Eisman, an executive partner at Abrams, Fensterman, Fensterman, Eisman, Formato, Ferrara & Wolf, died from complications associated with a recent surgery, according to Howard Fensterman, the firm's managing partner.
Eisman specialized in matrimonial law and was co-chair of the firm's divorce and family practice.
