New York litigation boutique Levine Lee has hired Tracy Lee Dayton, a former federal prosecutor in Connecticut and Brooklyn, as the firm's sixth partner. She is the fourth former federal prosecutor at the 15-lawyer firm, along with co-founders Seth Levine and Scott Klugman and partner Jillian Berman.

Dayton spent nearly a decade in the U.S. Attorney's Office in Connecticut, where she was chief of violent crimes and narcotics, senior litigation counsel, and most recently executive assistant U.S. attorney since late 2015. From 2001 to 2006, she was a federal prosecutor in the Eastern District of New York, where she overlapped with Levine.

Dayton also spent part of her career in a forensic audit position at MasterCard International Inc., overseeing internal investigations related to corporate governance issues, foreign bribery laws and securities violations, among other areas.
