City Bar Presents Stimson Medals
The New York City Bar Association on Tuesday presented its Henry L. Stimson Medals, which are given to outstanding prosecutors in the Southern and Eastern Districts.

The New York City Bar Association on Tuesday presented its Henry L. Stimson Medals, which are given to outstanding prosecutors in the Southern and Eastern Districts. The award is named for the former Southern District U.S. Attorney from 1906-09 and city bar president from 1937-39.
Above: Bar president John Kiernan, a partner at Debevoise & Plimpton, joined award winner Edward Newman, Eastern District Civil Division; keynote speaker Mary Jo White, a partner at Debevoise and former SEC chair; award winners Nicole Argentieri, Eastern District Criminal Division; Robert William Yalen, Southern District Civil Division; and Andrew Goldstein, Southern District Criminal Division; and Mark Hellerer, a partner at Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman who chaired the Stimson Medal committee. Pillsbury is Stimson's legacy firm.
