Nominations for In-House Counsel Awards Sought
The New York Law Journal has extended to June 30 the deadline for nominations of outstanding in-house legal departments and general counsel impact as part of its Professional Excellence Awards recognition event.

The New York Law Journal has extended to June 30 the deadline for nominations of outstanding in-house legal departments and general counsel impact as part of its Professional Excellence Awards recognition event.
The awards recognize the impact and achievements of by general counsel and in-house legal departments over the past year, such as how a corporate counsel's office, regardless of its size, came up with innovative programs, used ingenuity to solve problems or surmounted a scarcity of resources and still delivered high quality client service.
To nominate an attorney for a general counsel impact award, please submit an essay of no more than 500 words detailing his or her accomplishments over the last year.

J. Brugh Lower of Gibbons has entered an appearance for industrial equipment supplier Devco Corporation in a pending trademark infringement lawsuit. The suit, accusing the defendant of selling knock-off Graco products, was filed Dec. 18 in New Jersey District Court by Rivkin Radler on behalf of Graco Inc. and Graco Minnesota. The case, assigned to U.S. District Judge Zahid N. Quraishi, is 3:24-cv-11294, Graco Inc. et al v. Devco Corporation.
