Moritt Hock & Hamroff, a 64-attorney firm in Long Island and Manhattan, has absorbed the three-attorney practice of Morgenthau & Greenes.

The midsize firm's new hires included Joel Morgenthau, joining as a partner; Steven Greenes, joining as of counsel; and Vincent Balardi, joining as counsel.

Morgenthau & Greenes, founded in 1985 and counting as many as 12 attorneys at one point, focused on business transactions, branding and licensing, private equity and real estate law. With the attorneys' move to Moritt Hock, the small firm will dissolve, Morgenthau said.
