A European-based litigation funder, Vannin Capital, has launched in New York and hired three commercial litigators from large firms who will be investment directors.

The fund announced Tuesday that it had hired Michael German, previously an associate at Arnold & Porter Kaye Scholer; Alan Guy, formerly an associate at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer; and Carolina Ramirez, who was a Dentons associate.

Vannin Capital launched in the United States last year when it opened a Washington, D.C., office with Jeffery Commission, another former Freshfields Bruckhaus lawyer.
