How can lawyers solve workplace issues for immigrants and religious minorities?
The morning of Aug. 11 at the American Bar Association annual meeting in New York started with a discussion by experts on “Workplace Issues for Immigrants and Religious Minorities Under the Trump Administration.”
The panel consisted of Deborah Axt, co-executive director of Make the Road New York, the largest immigrant base-building organization in New York state; Jo Kaur, attorney for the Law Enforcement Bureau at the New York City Commission on Human Rights; Noel Trip, principal in the Long Island office of Jackson Lewis; and P. David Lopez, partner at Outten & Golden and former general counsel at the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission.
