Albany Law School is kicking off a fundraising initiative, and it has tapped a new administrator to oversee that effort.
The school has named Jeffrey Schanz as vice president of Institutional Advancement, a newly created position responsible for Albany's development, community affairs, and alumni relations departments. As part of his duties, Schanz will expand the school's development office, which handles fundraising.
“Jeff was the clear choice after an extensive search,” said Albany Law President and Dean Alicia Ouellette. “We have ambitious goals over the next several years, and we believe Jeff is the right person to join our team and help us achieve these goals, which include working with our committed alumni community to help bring the school to its next level.”
