Susan DeSantis, an award-winning journalist with expertise in both digital and print media, has joined the New York Law Journal as its deputy editor-in-chief.

Susan DeSantis, an award-winning journalist with expertise in both digital and print media, has joined the New York Law Journal as its deputy editor-in-chief.
DeSantis comes to ALM from The Record in Northern New Jersey where she was the editor in charge of the digital site, northjersey.com, during the early-morning hours. At the website and newspaper, she was responsible for major breaking news and was the editor who dispatched dozens of reporters and photographers to the World Trade Center during the terrorist attacks.
Her responsibilities for northjersey.com included posting court stories to the web and editing legal blogs on notable cases. In addition, she supervised reporters on the Topics and Enterprise team and developed expertise in such topics as education, human services, transportation, health and the environment.

The case, filed Oct. 2 in Massachusetts District Court by the Brown Law Firm on behalf of Stephen Austen, accuses certain officers and directors of misleading investors in regard to Symbotic's potential for margin growth by failing to disclose that the company was not equipped to timely deploy its systems or manage expenses through project delays.
