Members of the board of the Latino Judges Association of New York participated in a community service project through New York Cares on Nov. 19. The judges swept, mopped, washed down and put away tables and chairs and tidied up the kitchen and dining hall of the Xavier Mission at the Church of St. Francis Xavier. The Xavier Mission's soup kitchen is New York City's largest regular soup kitchen serving more than 900 meals every Sunday to those less fortunate.
