The New York City Bar Association is presenting a musical comedy honoring Preet Bharara Jan. 18 at the association's offices.

The Twelfth Night Musical Comedy Show is billed this way: “Except for events that probably didn't happen and others that almost certainly didn't, but are amusing anyway, we present a true and accurate account of the life and times of the former U.S. attorney for the Southern District of New York, now talk show pundit, podcaster, law school professor, Twitter tweeter, and highly popular graduation keynote speaker.”

The author of the book is Michael Chepiga. The lyrics are by Bruce Turkle and the show is
produced and directed by Rita Warner, chair of the entertainment committee.

The reception is at 6 p.m. followed by a performance at 7 p.m. at 42 W. 44th St. The cost is $45 for members, $60 for nonmembers and $30 for public service.

“With apologies to Stephen Vincent Benet. And Daniel Webster…,” the bar association adds in its press release.
