Justice Karen K. Peters has been named as Chair of New York’s Permanent Commission on Justice for Children which was formed in 1988 to improve the life chances of justice-involved children and adolescents. A former Presiding Justice of New York’s Appellate Division, Third Department, she will replace Justice A. Gail Prudenti, who had been serving as the Commission’s Chair since February 2016.

Brooklyn Law School has appointed securities and class action lawyer Lawrence A. Sucharow ’75 to its Board of Trustees. He is Co-Chairman of Labaton Sucharow.
