Thomas A. Adams, Administrative Judge of Nassau County, received the Charles A. Rapallo and Justice Antonin Scalia Award at a ceremony held at the Plaza Hotel in New York on Friday, April 6. The award, originally named the Rapallo Award in honor of Charles Rapallo, the first Italian-American elected to the Court of Appeals of New York, was renamed the Charles A. Rapallo and Justice Antonin Scalia Award, following the death of Antonin Scalia, the first Italian-American on the U.S. Supreme Court.
