In a motion filed today in the Southern District of New York, Stormy Daniels' attorney Michael Avenatti said that his client should be allowed to intervene in the case of President Trump's personal attorney Michael Cohen because documents taken from Cohen's office, home and hotel room could be subject to attorney-client privilege.

In court, U.S. District Court Judge Kimba Wood appeared willing to grant the motion on behalf of Stephanie Clifford, Stormy Daniels' real name. However, attorneys for the government and Cohen said they first wanted to review the motion in case they objected. Wood agreed to give the attorneys until Monday to file any objections.
