Kathryn Driscoll Hopkins, Chief Clerk of the Nassau County Supreme Court, was honored on May 21 with the Patriot Award presented by the Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR). The award honors individual supervisors for their support of National Guard and Reserve employees by promoting supportive work environments through outreach, recognition and educational opportunities. Ms. Hopkins was nominated by Sergeant First Class Christopher Norman, a court assistant in the Nassau County Supreme Court, who is presently deployed with the 310th Military Police Battalion, Guantanamo Bay Detention Group.
