"Greetings from Coney Island," a group photography exhibition, opened at the Honorable Charles P. Sifton Gallery at the Eastern District courthouse in Brooklyn on June 28. The show presents the work of 28 contemporary photographers who have documented Coney Island over the years. The exhibit was curated by Magistrate Judge Robert Levy, along with guest curators Rick Kopstein and Lauren Welles. EDNY Chief Judge Dora Irizarry and Judge Levy spoke at the opening reception, as did Welles, who spoke for the photographers. The exhibition runs through Sept. 28. Hours are 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday-Friday.
