Several hundred New York City court officers, wearing their dress uniforms or kilts, marched on Centre Street near Foley Square to commemorate the 17th anniversary of the World Trade Center attack. A light mist fell as they marched into the lobby of 111 Centre St. where the notes of Amazing Grace echoed through the silent halls. After a moment of silence, white-gloved court officers and court personnel placed flowers near a memorial to Senior Court Officers Thomas Jurgens and Mitchel Scott Wallace and Capt. William Thompson who died in the attack.
