Practice Profile: A partner in Jenner & Block's nationally recognized Content, Media & Entertainment practice, Alison focuses on matters involving content protection, copyright infringement, trademark enforcement, trade secrets, unfair competition, licensing negotiations, and contractual disputes. Alison litigates at the trial and appellate levels and also provides IP transactional and counseling work for a wide range of companies and individuals, including record labels, television studios, financial entities, and individual artists. Alison's deep knowledge in the industry helps clients secure, protect and leverage their intellectual property. Clients view her as a true partner in creating, protecting, and monetizing their IP.

Leadership, Pro Bono and Civic Work: Alison has served on multiple boards including the Irving Fine Society and the Advisory Counsel of New York Lawyers for the Public Interest. At Jenner & Block, she helped start a firm-wide support group for working mothers and is an active mentor to younger lawyers. Alison is also a dedicated pro bono advocate, representing clients through the Times Up Legal Defense Fund as well as artists through Volunteer Lawyers for the Arts, among many other representations. Alison has worked on women's issues internationally in multiple countries.
