Practice Profile: Kimberly advises corporations, boards and private equity firms on complex business law matters, with a focus on mergers and acquisitions and related financing transactions. In addition, she provides her clients counsel on corporate governance, disclosure and compliance matters, delivering seamless transaction execution. Her versatility likewise spans domestic and foreign markets and includes public and private companies in a wide variety of industries, including: biotechnology, energy, financial services, health care, insurance, manufacturing, media, pharmaceutical and technology.
Leadership, Pro Bono and Civic Work: Kimberly regularly speaks and writes on M&A topics. In the last twelve months, she has written about M&A transactions for Corporate Board Member, a leading magazine for public-company directors, and provided her insights as part of Merrill Corporation's client education materials. She has also served on a panel sponsored by the ABA's Women in M&A Task Force, moderated an M&A discussion at BIO's CEO Conference and co-chaired Thomson Reuters' NY M&A Forum.
Kimberly also co-chairs Cahill's Business Development Committee, serves on the firm's Women's Initiatives Committee, mentors a first-year associate and is the Partner Advisor for the firm's pro bono initiative with Lawyers Alliance for New York. There, she provides transactional-focused legal services to NYC nonprofits, with her most recent work helping public schools in low-income neighborhoods receive greater access to arts education.
Deeply committed to protecting and promoting equality and opportunity for women and families, Kimberly serves on the Leadership Advisory Committee of the National Women's Law Center and the Advisory Committee of New York-Presbyterian's Sloane Hospital for Women.

J. Brugh Lower of Gibbons has entered an appearance for industrial equipment supplier Devco Corporation in a pending trademark infringement lawsuit. The suit, accusing the defendant of selling knock-off Graco products, was filed Dec. 18 in New Jersey District Court by Rivkin Radler on behalf of Graco Inc. and Graco Minnesota. The case, assigned to U.S. District Judge Zahid N. Quraishi, is 3:24-cv-11294, Graco Inc. et al v. Devco Corporation.
