Over the past three proxy seasons, Elbaum has successfully led scores of defense engagements across a wide array of industries (such as energy, manufacturing, EPC, retail/wholesale, hospitality, restaurant, pharmaceutical, real estate/REITs, etc.). He also represents select investors in their activism campaigns against public companies.

Leadership, Pro Bono and Civic Work: Elbaum works with the Women's Corporate Directors and The Boule (Sigma Pi Phi) to promote gender and ethnic diversity in public company boardrooms. He represents battered and indigent women in connection with divorce, alimony and child custody and support proceedings. As the grandson of four Holocaust survivors, Elbaum is a strong supporter of genocide awareness and prevention charities. Further, he and his wife volunteer at a local soup kitchen that provides gourmet, white tablecloth meals to homeless members of their community and raise funds for NYU KIDS, the NYU's Sala Institute and the Boys & Girls Clubs of America, Northeast Region.
