  • Robinson+Cole has hired Maria Scungio as a partner in the firm's intellectual property and technology law group. She was formerly with Locke Lord where she was co-chair of its trademark, copyright and advertising practice group.
  • Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer has appointed Thomas Walsh as special counsel in the firm's international arbitration practice. He joins from Sullivan & Cromwell where he was special counsel in the firm's litigation group and deputy coordinator of the group's arbitration practice.
  • Robert Evans III, most recently a senior official in the SEC's Division of Corporation Finance, has joined Locke Lord as a partner in the firm's corporate practice group.
  • Steven Rizzi and Ramy Hanna have joined King & Spalding as partners in its trial and global disputes practice group. Both join from Foley & Lardner.
  • Joseph Diamante and Charles Cantine have joined Troutman Sanders as partners in the firm's intellectual property practice. They both previously practiced at King & Spalding.
  • Former SEC senior counsel Philip Moustakis has joined Seward & Kissel as counsel, where he will work with the government enforcement and internal investigations group, the investment management group, and the blockchain and cryptocurrency group at the firm.
  • Fritz Lark has joined Mayer Brown as a partner in the firm's corporate & securities practice. He was formerly a partner at Bracewell.
  • Eamon Nolan has joined Vinson & Elkins as a partner. He joins from Linklaters.
