Barbara Mullin Joins Patterson Belknap From Akin Gump

• Barbara Mullin has joined Patterson Belknap Webb & Tyler as special counsel in the firm's litigation department. She joins from Akin Gump Strauss Hauer & Feld.
• Ted Berkowitz has joined Moritt Hock & Hamroff as partner and general counsel. Prior to joining the firm, he was with the Office of the New York State Attorney General.
• Kasowitz Benson Torres has added Kevin Arquit as a partner. He was previously partner and co-head of the global antitrust/competition practice at Weil, Gotshal & Manges.
• Todd Soloway has been named co-chair of the litigation group at Pryor Cashman. This will be in addition to his chairing the hotel and hospitality group and real estate litigation practice. He will chair the group with Donald Zakarin. In addition, Seth Lieberman, currently co-chair of the corporate trust practice, is also now co-chair of the bankruptcy, reorganization and creditors' rights group. He will chair this group with Ronald Beacher.
• Wiggin and Dana has hired Carolyn Reers as a private client services partner. She was formerly a partner at Norton Rose Fulbright.
• Hogan Lovells has hired Simon Roberts and Jason Leonard as partners in the firm's intellectual property, media and technology practice. Previously they were partners at Venable and Fitzpatrick, Cella, Harper & Scinto.
• Lisa Dunlop has joined Axinn as a partner in the firm's antitrust group. She previously served as co-chair of the antitrust and competition practice at Manatt, Phelps & Phillips.
• Robert Schleier, Jr., formerly of The Law Offices of Robert E. Schleier, Jr. has joined Salenger, Sack, Kimmel & Bavaro, Woodbury as a partner.
• White & Case has added Tai Park and Douglas Jensen as partners in its global white collar practice. They join from Park Jensen Bennett, a boutique firm they co-founded in 2009.
• Legal finance company Vannin Capital has hired Matthew Atlas as a managing director. He joins from Colgate-Palmolive, where he was chief litigation counsel. In addition, Melissa Feig has joined the company at associate director. She was formerly with Morgan, Lewis & Bockius.
• Ethan Litwin has moved from Dechert to Constantine Cannon where he is a partner in the firm's antitrust practice.
• Colin Bumby has joined McGuireWoods in the firm's M&A practice as a partner. He was previously counsel at Latham & Watkins.

The suit, accusing the defendant of selling knock-off Graco products, was filed Dec. 18 in New Jersey District Court by Rivkin Radler on behalf of Graco Inc. and Graco Minnesota. The case, assigned to U.S. District Judge Zahid N. Quraishi, is 3:24-cv-11294, Graco Inc. et al v. Devco Corporation.

The suit, filed Dec. 11 in New York Southern District Court by Bleichmar Fonti & Auld, accuses the defendants of concealing the bank's 'pervasive' deficiencies in regards to its compliance with the Bank Secrecy Act and the quality of its anti-money laundering controls. Crown Castle International, a Pennsylvania company providing shared communications infrastructure, has turned to Luke D. Wolf of Gordon Rees Scully Mansukhani to fend off a pending breach-of-contract lawsuit. The court action, filed Nov. 25 in Michigan Eastern District Court by Hooper Hathaway PC on behalf of The Town Residences LLC, accuses Crown Castle of failing to transfer approximately $30,000 in utility payments from T-Mobile in breach of a roof-top lease and assignment agreement. The case, assigned to U.S. District Judge Susan K. Declercq, is 2:24-cv-13131, The Town Residences LLC v. T-Mobile US, Inc. et al.

Wilfred P. Coronato and Daniel M. Schwartz of McCarter & English have stepped in as defense counsel to Electrolux Home Products Inc. in a pending product liability lawsuit.
