It is sad and disappointing that a legal newspaper would publish articles by Vivia Chen. Her obsession with “white privilege” and constant demonization of white men, is repugnant, to say the least. It is hardly what one would expect from a “law” journal.

Moreover, she demonstrates classic “racism,” namely, judging a person on the basis of skin color, as well as gender. If her articles replaced white men with any other racial, religious or ethnic group she would be uniformly denounced and removed by the law journal. I would encourage her to publish articles expressing her opinion. However, just as I don’t expect sports scores in the law journal, I likewise don’t expect vitriol directed at a racial group.
