The New York City Bar Association’s Lawyer Assistance Committee held its Volunteer Appreciation Dinner and 20th Anniversary Celebration of the Lawyer Assistance Program on Monday, June 17 at the association’s house on 44th Street. The event honored Sarah Krauss, former Supreme Court Justice, Kings County, pictured above, for her commitment to the mission of Lawyer Assistance.

The program provides free, confidential help to attorneys, judges, law students and their family members who are struggling with alcohol or drug abuse, depression, anxiety and stress, as well as other addictions and mental health issues impacting their personal or professional lives.
