A special ceremony was held recently to posthumously dedicate a portrait of former Supreme Court Justice George R. Peck at the Nassau County Supreme Court.

The Nassau County Bar Association has a long-standing tradition of commissioning portraits of Supreme Court justices and presenting the portraits to the court. More than 100 portraits, dating back to the early 1900′s, are presently displayed in the Nassau County Supreme Court’s ceremonial courtroom.
