A special ceremony was held recently to posthumously dedicate a portrait of former Supreme Court Justice George R. Peck at the Nassau County Supreme Court.

The Nassau County Bar Association has a long-standing tradition of commissioning portraits of Supreme Court justices and presenting the portraits to the court. More than 100 portraits, dating back to the early 1900's, are presently displayed in the Nassau County Supreme Court's ceremonial courtroom.

Posing for a photo were, left to right, Elizabeth Post, executive director, Nassau County Bar Association; Judge Thomas A. Adams, presiding justice of the Appellate Term, 9th & 10th Judicial Districts; Dorian Glover of the Law Office of Dorian R. Glover and president-elect, Nassau County Bar Association; Patricia Ellen Peck, wife of the former judge; Judge Norman St. George, administrative judge, Nassau County, and Adrienne Flipse Hauch, of Adrienne Flipse Hausch & Associates.
