How often during the week do you work out? Three to four times a week.

At what time during the day or evening do you work out? Early morning.

What’s your go-to routine? I love riding my Peloton bike. On the weekdays, I do a Peloton workout involving cardio and weights. On the weekend, I have time to do a longer workout of biking or running and incorporate more strength exercises. I also go to Pure Barre and yoga classes when I have the chance.

How long does it take? On weekdays, I usually exercise for about 30 minutes. On weekends, I exercise for an hour or more.

Why do you like this routine? Peloton is great because I can get in a good workout while my kids are still asleep and without leaving the house. The music the instructors play helps me start the day energized and in a good mood.

What does regular exercise do for you? Regular exercise helps me organize my thoughts and relieve stress. I think of some my legal best arguments while I’m on a run.

How long have you been exercising regularly? I cannot remember a time in my life when I did not exercise regularly. My parents enrolled me in dance class when I was in preschool and I have been playing team sports since elementary school. Exercise has always been a big part of my life.

In what ways have you changed your routine over the months or years? Over the years, I have had to adapt my exercise routine to meet my work schedule and my children’s needs. Before my two boys were born, I usually exercised in the evenings. Now I almost always exercise in the morning before I help them with breakfast and getting ready for school.

How do you convince yourself to work out when you don’t want to? I know that, on any given day, I will always feel better mentally and physically after a good workout. The only thing that stands between me and exercise is sleep!
