Judge Desmond Greene, left, administrative judge of the 13th Judicial District, and Judge Matthew Titone, Richmond County surrogate, share a laugh after unveiling a plaque commemorating the 100th anniversary of the Richmond County Courthouse on Friday, Nov. 1. Chief Judge Janet DiFiore was among the speakers to commemorate the court’s centennial.

The neoclassical courthouse is home to the county’s Surrogate’s Court, Family Court and Matrimonial Parts. Following the program, Presiding Justice Alan Scheinkman and Associate Justices William Mastro, John Leventhal and Joseph Maltese of the Appellate Division, Second Department, held a session at the landmark courthouse.
