A Manhattan federal judge has directed Lev Parnas’ attorney to take steps to ensure that materials he turned over to House impeachment investigators do not contain privileged information that could potentially cause damage to his co-defendant in their criminal campaign-finance case.

U.S. District Judge J. Paul Oetken told Parnas’ defense counsel, Joseph Bondy, on Thursday to provide his contacts on the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence with the names of lawyers in order to identify any documents that may be subject to the attorney-client or work-product privilege.
