Nixon Peabody Names Ilana Kameros as Managing Partner

• Nixon Peabody has named Ilana Kameros as managing partner of the firm's New York office. She will maintain her practice in the firm's corporate trust and banking & finance group. Kameros follows Joseph Lynch, who held the position for more than six years and will now continue his practice in the firm's affordable housing and real estate group.
• Simpson Thacher & Bartlett has appointed Malcolm (Mick) Tuesley as head of the firm's national security regulatory practice.
• MoloLamken has named Rémy Gerbay, Michelle Parthum, and Lauren Weinstein as partners in the firm.
• Forchelli Deegan Terrana has hired Jeremy Musella as an associate in the firm's corporate and mergers & acquisitions and veterinary practice groups. He was previously an associate at Cullen and Dykman in Garden City.
• Zumpano Patricios & Popok has added two attorneys to the firm's New York office: Mitchell Mandell, formerly with Herrick, Feinstein, has joined as a senior partner and Hamutal Lieberman has joined as a senior associate. She was previously with Farrell Fritz.
• ColeSchotz has added Seth Van Aalten as a member of its bankruptcy & corporate restructuring practice. He joins from Cooley.
• Latham & Watkins has added Anupama (Anu) Yerramalli as counsel in the firm's restructuring & special situations practice within the finance department. She joins from Kramer Levin Naftalis & Frankel.
• Maritime attorney Neil Quartaro, has joined Cozen O'Connor as a member in the firm's transportation & trade practice. He joins from Watson Farley & Williams.
• Jonathan Crandall has joined Duane Morris & Selvam as a director in the firm's Singapore office and as a partner in the firm's New York office. He joins from Clifford Chance, where he was a senior associate in that firm's capital markets and U.S. practices in Singapore.
• Kelly Robreno Koster has returned to Eckert Seamans as a member in the firm's White Plains office. Prior to rejoining, she served as general counsel of a temporary staffing company in New York.
• Seth Liebenstein has joined Blank Rome as of counsel in the firm's real estate group. He joins from Belkin Burden Goldman.
• Rachel Ji-Young Yoo has joined Rawle & Henderson as of counsel. Prior to joining, she was of counsel at Spiegel Leffler.
• Dorf & Nelson has added Max Gaujean as partner, and Ginette Portera and Kathy Dandy as senior associates in the firm's litigation department. They join from Brown, Gaujean, Kraus & Sastow.
• Markotsis & Lieberman, located in Hicksville, has hired Vassilios Proussalis as an associate.

The case, filed Oct. 2 in Massachusetts District Court by the Brown Law Firm on behalf of Stephen Austen, accuses certain officers and directors of misleading investors in regard to Symbotic's potential for margin growth by failing to disclose that the company was not equipped to timely deploy its systems or manage expenses through project delays. The case, assigned to U.S. District Judge Nathaniel M. Gorton, is 1:24-cv-12522, Austen v. Cohen et al.

The action, filed Oct. 7 in New York Southern District Court by the Brown Law Firm, accuses the company's directors and/or officers of falsely expressing confidence in the company’s restructuring of its sales incentive plan and downplaying the severity of decreases in its upfront commitments. The complaint was filed Sept. 4 in Connecticut District Court by attorney Robert M. Berke on behalf of former employee George Edward Steins, who was arrested and charged with employing an unregistered home improvement salesperson. The complaint alleges that had Sunrun informed the Connecticut Department of Consumer Protection that the plaintiff's employment had ended in 2017 and that he no longer held Sunrun's home improvement contractor license, he would not have been hit with charges, which were dismissed in May 2024.
