Boies Schiller Flexner co-founder Jonathan Schiller, center, accepted on Saturday the dedication of Columbia University's Levien Gymnasium center court in his honor. The school cited his contributions to the university, the athletics department and the men's basketball program. Schiller served as chairman of Columbia's board of directors from 2014 to 2018 and was once a frontcourt player for Columbia, playing on the 1967-68 Ivy League men's basketball championship team. "He is an outstanding ambassador for the university and serves as a mentor to many of our student-athletes. We are so pleased to be dedicating the court in his honor," said Peter Pilling, left, director of Intercollegiate Athletics and Physical Education, at the dedication, standing with Schiller and Robin Harris, executive director at the Ivy League Council of Presidents.
