A former state attorney with the New York Liquidation Bureau failed to report thousands of dollars in income on financial disclosure statements over a two-year period, a state ethics commission announced Thursday.

The state’s Joint Commission on Public Ethics said Michael Pisapia has agreed to pay $3,000 and settle violations of the public officers law “for failing to disclose income received for providing legal services to private clients.”
