• Nick Losurdo has rejoined Goodwin as partner in the firm's financial industry practice. This follows his time at the U.S. Securities Exchange Commission (SEC), where he served as counsel to Commissioner Elad Roisman.
• Civil rights advocacy organization New York Lawyers for the Public Interest (NYLPI), has named Amber Khan as Director of Health Justice. Prior to joining, she worked as a senior attorney at National Advocates for Pregnant Women, litigating and advancing reproductive rights, health, and justice nationally. As director, Khan will lead and manage a staff of attorneys, community organizers, advocates, and interns to further NYLPI's mission to advance equality and civil rights.
• Fox Rothschild has added E. Bradley Gould as a partner in the firm's intellectual property department. He was previously a partner at Dorsey & Whitney. The firm has also added Scott A. Lavin as a partner in its taxation & wealth planning department. He joins from Robinson Brog.
• Herrick, Feinstein has elevated partner Sean O'Donnell to co-chair of the firm's finance litigation & restructuring group.
• Richard Rifkin has been named legal director at the Government Law Center at Albany Law School. He most recently served as special counsel and consultant to the New York State Bar Association.
• Aviation finance attorney Mehtap Cevher Conti has joined Hogan Lovells as a partner in the firm's finance practice. He was most recently with Arnold & Porter Kay Scholer.
• Greenspoon Marder has added Joseph MacLellan as senior counsel to the firm's hospitality, alcohol and leisure industry group.
• Adi Herman has joined Kramer Levin as a partner in the firm's private equity and mergers and acquisitions practices. He was formerly a partner at Kirkland & Ellis.
• Daniel Valsamopoulos has joined Polsinelli as a shareholder in its corporate and transactional practice. He was previously a partner at Westerman Ball Ederer Miller Zucker and Sharfstein, a boutique law firm on Long Island.
• Zetlin & DeChiara has elevated Chengdong (C.D.) Xing to co-chair of the Asian Affairs Committee of the City Bar for a term ending July 2021. He most recently served as secretary.
• Michelman & Robinson has added Todd Anderson as a member in the firm's tax and finance practice. Formerly he was founder and managing member of Anderson Tax & Finance Law in Hyannis Port, MA. Arti Fortedar also joined the firm as a commercial and business litigation associate.
