• Charles Critchlow has joined Akerman as a litigation partner in the firm's antitrust and trade regulation practice. Critchlow brings a four-decade legal practice extending to Latin America, India, and Africa, representing international enterprises in the transportation and logistics, fertilizer, natural resources, and electrical sectors. He was previously with Baker & McKenzie.

• Sheppard, Mullin, Richter & Hampton has added Ira Schulman as a partner and Emily Anderson and Michelle Cuozzo as associates in the firm's business trial practice group. The group joins from Pepper Hamilton.

• Norton Rose Fulbright has named its US Head of Antitrust and Competition, Robin Adelstein, as its Global Head of Antitrust and Competition. She succeeds Peter Scott, who has become the firm's Europe, Middle East and Asia (EMEA) managing partner. Based in New York and Washington, DC, Adelstein will retain her US leadership responsibilities at the firm.

• Todd Hatcher has joined Katten as a partner in its transactional tax planning practice. He was formerly counsel with Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison.

• Caroline Polisi has joined Armstrong Teasdale as a partner. She was previously with Pierce Bainbridge.

• Hunton Andrews Kurth has promoted Jeremy Boczko. Anthony Bonan, Brit Mohler and Adam O'Brian to partners in New York.

• Brian McKenna has joined Pillsbury in its corporate practice as a special counsel. He was previously a partner with Mayer Brown.

• Desmarais has added Leslie Spencer as a partner. Previously, she was a partner at Ropes & Gray.
